In football, timing is everything. A single second can separate triumph from heartbreak. For Hublot, that philosophy has defined its partnership with the UEFA Champions League for the past decade. This season, the brand celebrates that milestone with a watch designed to capture the spirit of Europe’s most prestigious competition: the Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Champions League Titanium.
Only 100 pieces will be made. And unlike the silverware lifted under floodlights, this trophy can be worn on the wrist.
The connection between Hublot and the Champions League began in 2015. Since then, the Swiss manufacture has timed more than 800 matches, recording the goals, comebacks, and unforgettable moments that shape the tournament’s history. This year is special: the Champions League itself marks 70 years since its beginnings as the European Cup in 1955. The new timepiece acknowledges both anniversaries with a design that carries the weight of footballing legacy.
At 42 millimeters, the chronograph case is cut in satin-finished and polished titanium, giving the watch a contemporary lightness and durability suited to everyday wear. The dial graduates through shades of deep blue, a clear nod to the competition’s colors, while the counter at three o’clock carries the Champions League logo. The strap, a blend of black rubber and blue calf leather, is finished with the starball emblem that has become synonymous with European nights.
Presentation matters here. Each watch arrives in a custom wooden box accompanied by a miniature replica of the Champions League trophy. It is, as Hublot frames it, the only version of the cup one can hold without first conquering Europe.
Kylian Mbappé, both Hublot ambassador and one of the modern game’s brightest stars, unveiled the watch earlier this month in Nyon, Switzerland. His presence underscored the brand’s alignment with football’s current and future legends.
