Audi has officially unveiled the all-new Q9, the largest and most luxurious SUV in the brand's history. Positioned as the new flagship of the Audi lineup, the Q9 introduces a new level of premium comfort, cutting-edge technology and spacious practicality, marking Audi's first entry into the full-size luxury SUV segment.

Designed to redefine the in-car experience, the Audi Q9 measures an imposing 5.31 meters in length and offers seating for up to seven passengers as standard. Buyers can also choose an exclusive six-seat configuration with electrically adjustable individual captain's chairs in the second row, creating a true business-class atmosphere. Automatic doors, premium materials and one of the most refined interiors Audi has ever produced further reinforce its flagship status.

A Cabin Built Around Comfort

The interior focuses on space and luxury. Every seat is electrically adjustable, while the front Sport Seats Plus can be equipped with heating, ventilation and massage functions. The second-row captain's chairs offer exceptional comfort, and the third row remains spacious enough for adults thanks to the generous 3.14-meter wheelbase. Automatic soft-closing doors, obstacle detection and remote operation through the myAudi app add another layer of convenience.

Audi also introduces its largest panoramic glass roof ever. Covering more than 1.5 square meters, it can optionally feature switchable transparency across nine independently controlled sections, while an illuminated version integrates with the ambient lighting system using 84 LEDs and 30 selectable colors.

World-First Lighting Technology

One of the Q9's standout innovations is its third-generation curved digital OLED rear lights. Audi claims this is the world's first production vehicle to feature curved digital OLED panels, improving visibility while creating a distinctive lighting signature. Complementing the rear lights are Digital Matrix LED headlights with advanced micro-LED technology capable of projecting lane guidance, pedestrian warnings and even turn signal graphics onto the road for improved safety.

The SUV also introduces advanced communication lighting, including projected exit warnings for approaching cyclists and hazard displays integrated into the rear light signature.

Technology Meets Everyday Luxury

Inside, Audi equips the Q9 with a curved OLED display combining a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.5-inch central touchscreen. A dedicated 12.3-inch passenger display comes standard, while the infotainment system runs on Android Automotive with access to Audi's integrated App Store.

Voice control has been significantly upgraded and now includes seamless ChatGPT integration, allowing drivers to search for information or control vehicle functions using natural language.

Music lovers can opt for a Bang & Olufsen Premium Sound System with 4D audio, featuring 22 speakers, integrated headrest speakers and seat-mounted actuators that allow occupants to physically feel the music.

Powerful Diesel Launch Model

At launch, the Audi Q9 is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 TDI producing 299 horsepower and 630 Nm of torque. Supported by Audi's latest MHEV Plus mild-hybrid system and an electric-powered compressor, the powertrain delivers improved responsiveness while reducing fuel consumption. Power is sent to all four wheels through an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and Audi's permanent quattro all-wheel drive system.
