Bel-Air Welcomes the 2026 Winter Holidays Across Twelve Acres

Bel-Air Estates has held the grounds of Hotel Bel-Air since 1946, spanning twelve acres of canyon gardens minutes away from Beverly Hills and Hollywood. The 103-room property, part of the Dorchester Collection, has arranged its holiday calendar for late 2026 around garden dining, seasonal pastry work, and outdoor film screenings. Guests booking the seasonal stay package receive a welcome cocktail alongside a $150 credit applicable toward on-site dining or treatments at the Spa by Valmont.

Thanksgiving dining begins in The Restaurant between 11am and 8pm. The kitchen serves a three-course menu priced at $295 for adults and $95 for children aged twelve and under, built around maple-glazed heritage turkey and pecan pie beneath twinkling garden lights. For hosts remaining at home, the property introduces a complete takeout package designed for up to twelve guests. Priced at $975, the package includes a whole roasted organic turkey, winter truffle risotto, and a classic pecan pie.

Specialty drinks appear on dining menus beginning November 1. Guests can order the Cocoa Buzz, a spiked hot chocolate, or the Egg-Eneezer Scrooge eggnog across all venue outlets. At the Patisserie, the kitchen provides Hanukkah jelly donuts, build-your-own gingerbread man kits, seasonal house-made pies, and traditional Bûche de Noël, followed by a dedicated dessert menu arriving December 1.

Open-Air Cinema and Lawn Gatherings at Bel-Air

The Front Lawn hosts the return of the Movies Under the Stars series in mid-December. General admission tickets cost $100 per person and include access to a snack station stocked with popcorn, chocolate, candy, and warm spiked hot chocolate. For larger parties, the hotel provides private fire pits priced at $1,000, accommodating groups of up to six people under the garden trees.

The cinema program features three titles on consecutive evenings. Screenings begin on Wednesday, December 16, with Elf, followed by A Christmas Story on Thursday, December 17. The series concludes on Friday, December 18, with The Holiday, set against the outdoor greenery and perimeter string lighting.

Afternoon tea takes place in The Living Room beside an open fireplace and a decorated Christmas tree. Service runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday throughout December at 3pm, priced at $140 per guest with a glass of champagne alongside seasonal teas.

New Year's Eve festivities divide between The Restaurant and the hotel lounge. The Restaurant serves an à la carte menu under glowing illuminated branches from 5:30pm to 10pm, concluding with an intimate midnight champagne pour. In the lounge, service operates from 3pm to 1am with a $150 minimum spend per person, offering a champagne and caviar selection between 3pm and 10pm.
