The first detail you might notice is the finish. On a new set of golf clubs, an ice-blue, two-tone paint technique is applied, the same method used on the bodywork of the Bugatti Tourbillon. This is the operating principle behind the new collaboration between French hypercar maker Bugatti and Japanese club maker HONMA: a direct translation of automotive design into the tools of sport.
The two companies come from different worlds and different eras. Bugatti was founded in 1909, operating under the principle of its founder, Ettore Bugatti: "If comparable, it is no longer Bugatti." HONMA was established nearly half a century later, in 1958, in Yokohama, Japan, building a reputation on the precision of its master artisans. Now, they have produced a collection of clubs scheduled for a global launch on June 16, 2026.
The collection is structured into three distinct lines. The BERES Super Premium Collection serves as the centerpiece, offered in 3, 4, and 5 Star tiers. The 5 Star version is the most exclusive, limited to just 20 sets worldwide. Here, the translation from car to club is most literal. Aerodynamic principles from Bugatti’s hypercars inform the design, while signature elements like the horseshoe grille, the C-line, and the new Tourbillon instrument cluster are integrated into the architecture of the clubhead.
Built for Performance
Where the BERES line is presented as a collectible, the Tour World Premium Collection is engineered for play. Based on HONMA’s professional TW777 line, it is framed as the track-focused equivalent of a Bugatti. The driver uses a titanium-carbon composite with a deep, low center of gravity for ball speed and control. The irons are made through a combination of precision milling and soft forging, designed for forgiveness and a solid feel at impact. The use of high-precision CNC milling is intended to produce a specific touch and a pure, crisp sound.
