FRED Translates the Colors of Roland-Garros into Force 10

FRED Translates the Colors of Roland-Garros into Force 10

The warm tones of a clay court in Paris. The sharp white of the lines. A flash of bright yellow from a tennis ball in motion. These are the sensory details that define the atmosphere at ROLAND-GARROS, and they form the foundation of a new capsule collection from the Maison FRED.

    From Sailing to Centre Court

The collaboration renews a partnership between the jeweler and the tournament, bringing the world of tennis into the design language of one of the brand’s signature lines. The Force 10 collection, first created in the 1960s, has its origins in the world of sailing. Its distinctive twisted cable and buckle design was inspired by maritime hardware, giving it an enduring sporty spirit.

For this season, that nautical DNA is reinterpreted through the lens of tennis. Six new creations adopt a palette of terracotta, yellow, and navy blue, directly referencing the environment of the Paris tournament. The collection continues to be shaped by values the Maison holds: audacity, energy, and a spirit of challenge.

    A Collection of Firsts

Within the new series, LVMH-owned FRED introduces, for the first time, a Force 10 Precious Small necklace and bracelet. These pieces join a set of limited-edition designs that explore color contrasts and luminous stones, built around the interchangeable cable system that has become a hallmark of the line.

This modular approach is central to the collection’s identity. The ability to swap cables allows the jewelry to be personalized, adapting to different styles and ways of wearing. It is a design meant to be versatile, reflecting the personal nature of how jewelry is worn.
