On January 29, 2026, three new S-Class saloons departed Stuttgart on a global drive. The journey, titled “140 Years. 140 Places,” will cover more than 50,000 kilometres across six continents, a physical marker for a symbolic anniversary for Mercedes.

The route is designed to visit 140 locations, each chosen to reflect a part of the company’s history or its presence around the world. The drive is not a solitary one. Along the way, the convoy of new S-Class models is joined by classic vehicles, other current production cars, and local fleet vehicles, creating a rolling showcase at each stop.

Across Continents

The first stage of the journey took the cars across Europe, with stops in Switzerland, France, Spain, and Belgium. From there, the convoy crossed to South America, traveling through Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, and Chile before heading to North America.

A series of hosts are documenting the drive for the brand's YouTube channel. Callum Mullin covered the European leg, Karl Shakur followed the cars through South America, and Benjamin Ortega is documenting the North American chapter. The tour is also being updated across the Mercedes-Benz Community hub and its social media channels.

The Asian Leg

The journey is now in Asia. The S-Class will be present in Seoul, South Korea, for the world premiere of the new electric C-Class. It will then travel to Beijing for Auto China before continuing to Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, and Japan.

The trip is structured around both planned showcases and spontaneous meetups with customers, fans, and members of local Mercedes-Benz Clubs. These in-person moments and community celebrations are shaping the character of the tour as it unfolds from one continent to the next.
