The architecture of the Norqain Wild ONE has always been its whole story. A multi-part case, built for performance, that puts its material science on full display. It’s a design that feels engineered rather than styled. Now, that platform is being tested, with the introduction of two new models that pull the collection in opposite directions: one toward mechanical complexity, the other toward extreme lightness.
Adding Complication
Adding a chronograph to an existing design is a familiar move. The challenge is doing it without upsetting the balance of the original. For the Wild ONE, this meant figuring out how to integrate a complication into a watch defined by its robust, technical form. The result is the Wild ONE Skeleton Chrono, the first of its kind in the collection.
The solution was to open everything up. The dial uses transparent floating discs for the chronograph counters instead of traditional subdials. This clears the view straight through to the movement, creating a sense of depth where there is usually clutter. It’s a way to add function while simultaneously removing visual mass. The inclusion of a pulsometer scale on the flange ties back to the watch's focus on performance.
At its heart is the NORQAIN 8K Manufacture Calibre, a high-performance flyback chronograph movement. Three versions are available. One is finished in black with turquoise details. Another comes in a deep burgundy, limited to 400 pieces. A third gold model is the most exclusive, limited to just 75 pieces.
