There is a difference between a collaboration and a conversation. The former often feels forced, the latter natural; an exchange between two worlds that understand each other. The Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly, unveiled by H. Moser & Cie. during the 2025 Singapore Grand Prix, belongs firmly to the second category.
What emerged from the meeting between Pierre Gasly and the Neuhausen-based manufacture is not a branded exercise but a shared statement on precision. Gasly, known for his poise behind the wheel, approached the project with the same discipline that defines his racing. He worked hand in hand with Moser’s artisans, refining each element, from the feel of the strap to the tone of the dial, until it mirrored his idea of balance.
That dial became his signature: Chocolate fumé. A deep, layered brown with a sunburst finish that shifts with the light, the color carries quiet strength. The transparent-lacquered Moser logo leaves the surface almost untouched, giving the impression of restraint rather than embellishment. It is paired with a 5N red gold Streamliner case, its fluid architecture designed to play with reflections much like the bodywork of a race car under floodlights.
At six o’clock, a one-minute flying tourbillon animates the composition, its slow, hypnotic rotation powered by the automatic HMC 805 calibre, developed and finished in-house. The movement features Moser’s signature double hairspring, produced by its sister company Precision Engineering AG, which improves accuracy through symmetry and balance. The oscillating weight, in 18-carat red gold, completes the picture with subtle transparency and an engraved Moser emblem.
Two versions of the watch exist. The first, reference 6805-0410, is limited to 100 pieces and paired with a chocolate rubber strap that underscores the Streamliner’s sport-chic versatility. The second, reference 6805-0411, is the collector’s choice: just ten pieces, fitted with an integrated red-gold bracelet. A single ruby set at ten o’clock quietly nods to Gasly’s racing number, a detail as intimate as it is deliberate.
Seen under the lights of Singapore, where the air hums and engines echo off glass towers, the Streamliner Tourbillon Pierre Gasly feels at home. It is precise, personal, and confident without being loud, qualities shared by both the man and the brand.
In a landscape where collaborations often chase attention, H. Moser & Cie. has managed something more enduring. The result is a portrait in mechanical form, created not from sponsorship but from mutual respect.
