The Touring Woven Holdall is crafted from a rich tan leather, with hand-woven panels that recall traditional picnic basketry. Its silhouette was designed to subtly mirror the boat-like rear form of the Range Rover itself. This is the first signal that the brand's latest project is about translating automotive design into objects you can carry.
The holdall is a highlight of the new Range Rover British Summertime Collection, a series of pieces timed for the height of the season. The project extends the brand's design language beyond the vehicle, guided by the philosophy of 'luxury in motion'. Inspiration comes from two distinct areas: the graphic precision of tennis culture and the tactile traditions of British craft. The palette follows, with crisp tennis whites, heritage greens, and accents of tennis ball yellow set against strawberries-and-cream hues.
A lightweight blanket made from a blend of 60% cashmere and 40% wool translates a bird’s-eye view of Centre Court into a bold graphic textile. The piece is hand screen-printed in Italy and finished with a hand-whipstitched edge, bringing a specific seasonal moment into a physical form.
A Geography of Craft
The collection maps a specific geography of British making. Artisans in Stoke-on-Trent, a historic center for pottery, craft the collection’s ceramics from UK-sourced clay. In Macclesfield, another town with a long history in its field, specialist workshops digitally print the textiles, including the silk linings for the leather accessories.
The tea sets from Stoke-on-Trent are offered in two distinct colorways. The Country House set uses a vibrant, multi-tonal palette, while the Country Garden version pairs deep green with soft sky blue. Both are unified by a delicate, hand-applied Sunset Gold edging, a direct reference to an optional exterior paint finish available for the Range Rover.
