At the entrance to the reimagined Vacheron Constantin boutique in Nanjing, guests are met by a wall of deep-blue ceramic tubes. Created in collaboration with artist Xin Yaoyao, the installation reimagines the Maison's Maltese Cross in three-dimensional form. It fuses two traditional ceramic techniques, kiln-transmutation glaze and ice-crackle glaze, to create a surface that shifts with the light.

The Mechanics of the Space
The boutique is also designed for interaction. A dedicated Watchmaking Wall traces the journey of a timepiece from initial sketches to mechanical components and finishing techniques. Nearby, an open Strap Bar invites clients to personalize their watches through an engaging aesthetic experience.
For a more immersive experience, clients are welcomed into a spacious VIP lounge. The room blends Eastern and Western sensibilities through an interplay of wooden screens and textured walls, creating a refined and harmonious environment.
The creation of the Yunjin brocade is faithful to the spirit of the original painting, but reinterpreted with richer colors and more delicate patterns. Its production requires two artisans to weave in harmony on a traditional loom, a symbol of Eastern textile artistry at its pinnacle.
